Welcome to the Forgotten CCGs, where we talk about older, dead CCGs. In this series I let you know the history, rules, and information about a CCG that came out many years ago. I take a look at another game that came out, the Star Trek the Customizable Card Game. In this episode I talk all about the first edition of the game. This edition lasted for over a decade, and expanded from just The Next Generation to all the series of Star Trek. But along the way, the rules and the systems became bloated and more complex, leading to a difficulty spike for new players that made it difficult to join. In this end, this is what lead to the second edition, the attempt to correct the problems of the first edition.
