Star Trek: The Next Generation - A Final Unity was an action/adventure game released in 1995 for MS-DOS CD ROM by Spectrum HoloByte which starred the entire TNG cast playing their respective characters.. Players controlled Captain Jean Luc Picard and the rest of the Enterprise D crew ..

The story takes place during the 7th season of the TV series and involves the non-canon alien race "The Chodak" which were seen in the other computer games "Star Trek: Generations" and "Star Trek: Birth Of The Federation"

The majority of the game takes place on planets and space stations with the player taking control of the away team to investigate various alien places, interacting with characters and solving puzzles..

As of 2017 "A Final Unity" is considered to be one of the best Star Trek games ever made.
