Phantasmagoria is a point and click FMV adventure horror game which was created by Roberta Williams (Creator of the King's Quest franchise and founder of Sierra-On-Line) and released by Sierra-On-Line on August 24th, 1995 for MS DOS CD-ROM with a budget of 4.5 million dollars.. The game shipped on 7 CDs due to the fact it used real actors/FMV..

The story involves you playing Adrienne Delaney (Victoria Morsell), a successful mystery novelist who moves into an old Victorian mansion with her husband Donald Gordon (David Homb)..The mansion was previously owned by a world renowned Illusionist named Zoltan Carnovasch (Robert Miano) and as Adrienne continues to explore their new home she begins to realize that her and her husband are not alone .. and that this mansion holds many secrets and horrific evils..

It will take Adrienne all of her power, wits and sanity to survive what her new home has in store for her...
