I never got to do a video on this, but thankfully, the pre-demo got released recently, so this is finally relevant again. As a bit of an introduction, Battlefront III is among one of the most fascinating lost video games of all time for me, as it held the potential to become the greatest Star Wars game of all time, but we will never know how it would've fared.
Or, will we?
Indeed. Modding strikes again to bring my hopes and dreams to life! Battlefront III: Legacy brings this cancelled gem to life using Battlefront II and the many assets for the game, including maps, models, animations, sounds, UI items, and more! It may just be a simple modification for an earlier title, but it's so far the only somewhat stable release, as the leaked pre-alpha build is a glitchy, stuttery, incomplete mess. I recommend this mod in every sense of the word.

- The next two notes below are for the open beta ONLY. The pre-demo comes with all the prerequisites you'll need!
- The unofficial 1.3 patch is required for most mods, and this one's no different!
- The GameSpy patch is required to avoid the game crashing when loading Coruscant, but you may also need to equip a recording device or line-in.
