Star Wars Jedi Survivor: Poor PC Performance and Optimization Issues
In this STAR WARS Jedi Survivor performance review I wanted to talk more about the issues that we encountered in my last gameplay video on the RTX 4080 and how there is still some hope for Jedi Survivor PC. In this video, I discuss the performance issues I've experienced while playing Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Despite trying different settings and resolutions, the game's performance remains poor. Upon further research, I discovered that the game is not properly optimized, and even the day one patch did nothing to improve the performance. I also explain how Respawn Entertainment's choice to use Unreal Engine 4 instead of 5 and the lack of DLSS in the game contribute to the performance issues. My friend @KlestonD also experienced similar issues, indicating that the problem is not just limited to my computer. However, I found that the game's issues seem to be limited to the training area, and performance improves in other areas. In my next video, I will continue my research to find a solution or shed more light on why the game is not performing well. Despite the poor optimization, Star Wars Jedi Survivor is a fantastic game with a great storyline and gameplay.
