STAR WARS OUTLAWS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON STEAM AT LAUNCH
Star Wars Outlaws, the highly anticipated open-world game developed by the team behind The Division, is set to release in 2024 on consoles and PC. However, Ubisoft recently announced that the game will not be available on Steam or the Epic Games Store at launch, which has disappointed many PC gamers who have built their libraries on these platforms. Instead, Star Wars Outlaws will be exclusive to Ubisoft Connect, Ubisoft's own launcher on PC. While Ubisoft has skipped Steam and Epic Games Store for recent games, there is hope that the game will eventually make its way to these platforms post-release. This decision is likely due to Ubisoft's desire to avoid the 30% revenue cut imposed by Steam. Star Wars Outlaws features an expansive open world and introduces a new character named Kay Vess. According to Massive Entertainment, it is the first open-world Star Wars game, promising exciting possibilities for players.
