This is the attract mode of Star Wars Racer Arcade produced by Sega and released in 2000. The name Pod Racer that some people on internet give to it is wrong.

This game runs on Hikaru Hardware that was originally planned only for the game BraveFirefighters becuse it can handle better aque and fire effects. This board was really expensive to produce so Sega was 'forced' to forget it and produce Naomi2 that was a lot cheaper.
