Star Wars: Rogue Squadron - Part 15 - Moff Seerdon's Revenge
1Mission objective:
Defend the Rebel Alliance's bacta storage tanks from the Empire's assault.
Strategy:
One of the more difficult missions, "Moff Seerdon's Revenge" starts you out being shot at from pretty much everywhere.
As soon as you start, take out the series of rocket turrets that I showed in the video. (Their positions are a little difficult to explain in text) This will clear up some (not all) of the crossfire for you.
Next, a good target would be the Tie Interceptors. For the most part they just patrol around in squads and pose no threat, but quite often you will find one-off fighters that have a death wish for you. Be careful, their maneuverability outclasses the X-Wing soundly and they are rather difficult to kill.
Good thing to remember that all the enemies in this mission are limited. So that means no infinite Interceptor spawns to ruin your day.
Once the Interceptors are gone, the next portion is rather easy: destroying the remaining ground units and Imperial buildings.
Once everything is destroyed, Moff Seerdon himself will come out to play.
While I didn't use them in the video, I highly recommend getting the torpedo upgrades for the X-Wing before starting this mission:
Advanced Proton Torpedoes -
Improves the damage output of the proton torpedoes. Found on "Defection At Corellia".
Seeker Proton Torpedoes -
Adds a "lock on" ability to the proton torpedoes. Found on "Escape from Fest".
