Star Wars Squadrons - Don't Hit The HYPErdrive Chewie!
202Today I want to talk about the overwhelming amount of hype we've been seeing in the space flight communities over Star Wars Squadrons. While I'm over joyed to see a stand alone space combat game based in Star Wars after sooooo long, I think a lot of people are getting swept up in hype and also incorrectly comparing Squadrons to the next evolution of X-Wing VS TIE Fighter.
While I DO think that Squadrons absolutely has a place in the Star Wars video game lineup, I've been seeing a concerning trend of people hyping this game to the outer rim and back - and I think given how very little we know about the game currently, there's plenty of space to be voicing concerns and issues with what we DO know, and since it seems every media outlet and channel is instead losing their collective minds over this game's announcement, I'll just keep wearing my Bad Guy Complainer hat...
