Today we're going to talk about the space survival game known as Osiris: New Dawn made by Fenix Fire Entertainment. This game was launched on Steam back in 2016 and after having a first year as a top selling game on Steam during it's launch, this Early Access title has rapidly nose dived over the last 3 years with constant delays, misleading promises, endless excuses, but HEY, they're "not a part of the corporate machine, but a small collection of artisans"!

I've waited 4 years to review this game, each year checking in on Osiris hoping the game had finally had some actual meat glued onto the bones so I could promote a cool space survival game, instead here in 2020 I find a mess of delays and shady marketing topped off with a sprinkle of censorship banning and oh hey.....I got banned for saying "Seconded" and called a toxic player and a cyberbully by one of the developers.....for saying "seconded."

Channel Update.



Why haven't you given us love senpai? Long story short, some of you know my GF who I live with is a nurse, and as a result she's been handling Covid patients, she likely brought the bug home as we both got sick and she had to quarantine at home and wasn't allowed to go back to work until 3 days without symptoms......she's also a good bit younger than me and I'm taking it a little less well than she did, I'm still having trouble breathing, coughing constantly and have a headache from hell. As you can imagine, this makes it really hard to stream - as for recording videos, this short 20 minute video took me nearly 8 hours to record the audio between breaks of coughing my lungs up. So between my household and my kid's mother and her sister getting exposed to it as well (they also work in health care), it's been a pretty nonstop CV19 fest for me.


This also ties in to a later part of the video and why I'm fine making a joke about CV19.....some people might be offended by that, but as someone who is literally living with it every day, I don't really care, and I can guarantee nearly everyone has liked, shared, or created a meme joking about CV19 at this point, so screw FromMars for trying to duck their crappy company practices by trying to highlight a joke I made in a review of a garbage game being "developed" by a garbage company.



I'm slowly getting to the point where I'm not coughing crap up constantly and my ribs aren't killing me from coughing so much, so I'm hoping to start doing some streams of DCS World in the near future (I just got my @MonsterTech mounts in and I can FINALLY use my HOTAS setup again since I literally couldn't go back to a HOTAS setup after having a custom pit years before. This means I can FINALLY dig into DCS without being miserable, so if you're a fan of DCS, keep an eye out for that once I'm not half dead.

Thank you to everyone for sticking around despite the drought here on the channel. I'm hoping between learning all the planes (and choppahs) in DCS and Star Citizen 3.9 (hopefully) on the near horizon, things should start picking up here again in the near future........unless I die LOL
