Star Wars Starfighter Can't Fix The Franchise But It CAN Do THIS
In this video, I break down why I believe the Star Wars brand is fundamentally broken, and why that’s not necessarily a deal-breaker for upcoming projects like Starfighter. Drawing inspiration from the original spirit of adventure that George Lucas channeled from Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon, Starfighter has the potential to deliver the kind of escapist storytelling audiences are craving right now. It may not fix everything wrong with the franchise and honestly, it doesn’t have to. Sometimes, one well-made, self-contained story is enough to reignite a little of that old magic.
