* All previous versions can be found on the release page over on GitHub (https://github.com/Silverfeelin/Starbound-WEdit/releases). I only overwrite releases if they contain bugfixes and no new content.
* The reason blocks were being placed one by one is due to a listed issue on the main overview of WEdit; a game limitation that prevents placing blocks in mid-air without any adjacent blocks.
* WEdit v1.2.2.2, released earlier this day, introduces your requested feature. The length of selected lines is now displayed below your character: http://i.imgur.com/1vIQW8N.png. Thank you for your request!
* The reason you'll see dirt being placed and removed is due to the game limitation mentioned in the previous paragraph. Until Chucklefish implements a function parameter that allows for placing blocks in mid-air, this is something we'll have to live with.
* All that matters when defining the area to paste in, is the bottom left corner of your selection (as you indicated). This does mean the actual selection size does not matter: the paste size will always equal the size of your copied selection. The same can be said for schematics.
* The issue causing the pasting process to finish prematurely was caused by an attempt at speeding up the paste process, but has been fixed in v1.2.2.1, released earlier this day. You can view more information regarding this closed issue here: https://github.com/Silverfeelin/Starbound-WEdit/issues/17
*I highly suggest right clicking schematics before trashing them. Deleting items does not clear the stored copy of the blocks, which means you could theoretically run into issues when you have too many large schematics saved. As you point out later in the video, you can clear schematics in the interface: this basically does the same thing, but for every schematic made (whether you still have the item or not).
*The Manipulated UI mod is optional. WEdit will function without it, but it exposes some settings users might want to set, which is why I recommend usage of the mod. The same can be said for the Compact Interface: this requires Item Interfaces to work, but WEdit will still work without being able to use the Compact Interface.
*Settings in the interface can be found on the Wiki: https://github.com/Silverfeelin/Starbound-WEdit/wiki/Settings-Interface
The iteration delay defines the amount of time (in game ticks) WEdit waits between placing or breaking blocks. The value 60 would result in a delay of about a second per iteration. This is configurable as the mod is multiplayer compatible: some connections may require the delay to be set higher, to give the world a chance to respond to your requests (breaking or placing of blocks).
*If anyone has any requests or issues that can't be solved by reading the mod overview and/or Wiki on GitHub, and aren't listed yet on the page, please submit them here: https://github.com/Silverfeelin/Starbound-WEdit/issues
