Starbow is a mod that the developers of Starbow have been working on for a very long time. It has recently been officially released as a mod for the StarCraft 2 Arcade, and is playable for everyone. In this video I play Zerg in Starbow, and face off against another Zerg.

The Starbow mod is essentially a mix between features of StarCraft: Brood War, and StarCraft 2. The majority of the mechanics are a copy of that of Brood War, however, the game is set in the engine of StarCraft 2.

It creates an interesting dynamic between the two games. The developers of Starbow call it a fan-made expansion to Brood War, built in the StarCraft 2 engine, and this seems to be very accurate.
