The StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void beta has been going on for quite some time now, and build orders are starting to get figured out more and more. Where as at first people just messed around, lately I've been seeing the stronger build orders take a lead and this is one of them.

In this video I discuss this one base Protoss all-in that forces the Zerg to be extremely defensive. I have tried a lot of different options to counter this, but for some reason it seems to be nearly impossible. The push consists of mainly Adepts, which force me to split up my army to the point where I can not defend two places at once.

The basic idea behind this build order is to get as many adepts as possible off one base, and then transition towards a quick 4 gate timing attack. The Adepts force the Zerg to defend at multiple places at once and it's extremely difficult to defend.

I've tried defending this with Roaches, Ravagers, Spine Crawlers, Queens, Zerglings and much earlier Zergling speed but for some reason if the game gets to the point where four gateways finish up it seems to be game over. That said, it is possible to hard counter this with ridiculously early Zerglings but if the Protoss player plays a standard Gateway expand you're going to be extremely far behind.
