In this beginners guide tutorial video I show you how to get started with base-building in Starfield, which in this game are called Outposts are are a way of collecting, mining and harvesting resources for even more building and crafting.
I also show you the great Resource Calculator (link above) that will turn your structure list into a to-get shopping list of needed resources.
I take you from the very beginning with how to place an Outpost Beacon to start you base, and the bare essentials to start mining a mineral from the planet or moon you're on. I show you had to place a Solar Array to power your Extractor, a Transfer Container to store the resource, an airlock, hab and crew-station so you can transfer followers to your Outpost, and an Industrial Workbench to craft more items!
