We check out Stationeers gameplay in an early access game inspired by Space Station 13, Space Engineers and others. This let's play Stationeers alpha video checks out the very first open release, jumping into the survival mode set on the moon where all you have is a few equipment crates and a space suit!

In this let's play Stationeers gameplay video we start by building a few basic blocks to start off a space base, then building a solar panel and solid fuel generator to provide power for the base. In our first steps, we see how to construct the base using tools, how to mine for coal to fuel the generator and how to wire up machines, all using the starting equipment.

We find this alpha game's controls and UI are quite punishing, and that a lot of the game is down to you to investigate for yourself. We also discover that the welder shouldn't be left out in the sun in this let's play Stationeers gameplay video!
