This is my 4k Gameplay series of Ancestors The Humankind Odyssey, brought to us by Panache Digital Games.

In this episode we try to go out and actually explore a little bit to discover just what exactly is around us in the jungle. It can be easy to get turned around and or miss things right under your nose.. Or eyes.. Then again perhaps we should stay close to the clan. I mean it's a jungle out there!

Ancestors The Humankind Odyssey is a survival, RPG where you play as our ancient ancestors and evolve (hopefully) ahead of schedule. With the goal of survival and exploration at the forefront, this game does very little to hold your hand after it's very short and necessary tutorial. This causes you to have to experiment with items in the game much the way you would expect our ancestors had to. Add in basic survival elements such as temperature, sleep, eating, drinking and basic procreation (for the sake of the longevity of the species!) and you have the recipe for a very different game than usual.

All in all the graphics and sound help play a role in discovery with little to actually guide you on what to do (even with Full HUD options enabled) This means you'll travel, discover new resources and ways to use them, even evolve all with a rough guess and a bit of luck to move forward. Hopefully if we pay attention and stick together we can evolve into humans after all!
