Steam Controller With 2D platform Games
69In this video we talk about using the Steam Controller with 2D games like super Mario world,street fighter and arcade classics.
All said and done it would seem using the left touch pad as a Dpad is probably the largest weakness of the steam controller as it simply does not work as well or feel as good as a proper Dpad.
That said by using the Haptic feedback and setting the analog stick to be responsive you can get very precise and rewarding input that whilst not as good as an arcade stick,easily beats out a traditional game-pad.
