I know, I know.. Centipede: Recharged is the real name of the game and no, I don't believe it is of so low quality to deserve a refund. It definitely scored in the borderline range. Art and sound direction saved this game from a lower score. Unreliable controls impacted gameplay severely, making the experience more frustrating than fun.
3079 Block Action RPG was a pleasant surprise and in the first video I made (where I forgot to hit record), I promised to cover this entire series if the game scored high enough to make recommend status. Looks like 3089, 4089, 5089, and 8089 are going to be added to the queue of games for this series.
Fight'n Rage nails it as far as reimagining a classic franchise goes. It's only the second top tier rated game of this series, coming in 2nd place out of the 60-ish games we've covered. I prefer Lead & Gold over this but that's mostly a matter of genre preference over any actual objective measure. If you see this on sale, pick it up!
