Darkest Dungeon 2 now has a CONFIRMED release date for Steam and the 1.0 build, May 8th. There are 2 remaining updates for early access, including potentially a new hero who has been teased by Red Hook. There is a free demo on Steam for Next Fest, go ahead and try it out and wishlist the game while you're there!
