The Saturn sequel to the 32X 3D shooter, Stellar Assault (Shadow Squadron). Title pronounced "Stellar Assault Double S." I've carefully named the entire soundtrack to reflect all appearances in the game. The music here is FIRE, and all done on the Saturn's internal sound chip. The composer is Yoshihiro Kunimoto (studio "N2"), who handled arrangements on many of the earliest and most classic game soundtracks like Famicom Music, Konami Game Music, Hudson Game Music, Capcom Game Music, Tecmo Game Music, and S.S.T. He's also a part of the famous Japanese band, Southern All-Stars, and has done a lot of other non-game stuff. One of my favorite discoveries in a long time, this soundtrack evokes a strange sense of nostalgia. It's like Silpheed Mega-CD meets Gradius.
