Stellar Blade Demo - How to ambush and perform stealth attacks?
1This Stellar Blade game guide video shows how to initiate powerful assassinations by surprising enemies from the back. It can be a good tactic of eliminating stronger types of monsters without taking the risk of defeating them in open combat. This technique will only work on standard creatures - you can't use it on unique elites and bosses.
Gain at least 1 skill point, visit any camp and purchase the Ambush skill from the Attack skill tree (you can also later improve it by acquiring adjacent skills).
The idea is to approach the monster from the back without being spotted, so wait for the right moment and don't run or sprint. Wait for the Triangle button to appear on the screen - pressing it will play the backstab animation and you'll perform a 1 hit kill.
If you're prematurely spotted, then run away from the monster, lose the chase and go back to try again.
