According to google AI, this is the original ending for EVE's journey. The rest were added later, but it sucks!
For the story, it felt so wrong to battle Adam. It’s a backstab to him for what? Completing her missions no matter what? I sincerely hope SB 2 aren't seriously considering using this ending as the starting point of the story. Otherwise, I will not buy the 2nd game. 'Dear EVE, you backstabbed your best ally, then 'pretending' to be on Mother Sphere's side, then telling us: you 'secretly' plan to overthrow her?‘ What kind of terrible, twisted story is this? I don't think I would be interested in role playing a weapon again and waiting to find out what will happen later.
For gameplay, Adam is such a formidable foe, far more powerful than any enemies I’ve encountered thus far. I haven't used 2nd revive on any other bosses until I met him. This also exposed a terrible issue I have with Stellar Blade. Developers have forgotten to add an option of 'flipping vertical of camera in aiming mode'. The thing's my sense of up and down when using a controller is differ from majority of people. I need it to be reversed to feel right. In such a tight battle that only leaves me a brief second to aim and destroy these angel targets or die trying. There’s absolutely no time for adjusting directions in uncomfortable ways.

Despite I don't like this ending at all, considering the possiblity that this ending might be the beginning of 2nd game, I shall leave it to this video walkthrough, just in case.
