This Stellar Blade game guide video shows the Maelstrom boss battle from the Altess Levoire main mission. You'll encounter the boss after entering the Heart of the Infection at the end of the underground base.
Eve can only use the ranged weapon (various projectile types for the drone) and the melee weapon is banned. Aim at the glowing yellow spots and wait for the boss's mouth to open. Focus on attacking it and Maelstrom can lose its health faster than usual.
The boss is spitting projectiles and you should remember about avoiding them. Test subjects may also appear near Eve - avoid their explosions and use them to replenish ammo.
Watch out Maelstrom's strong energy attacks and run to the sides. Keep shooting until the boss loses all health. There's no additional QTE for you to pass in this fight.
