This is another part of the pre-release stream for Stellaris. With 1.1 around the corner hopefully this serves as a good time capsule for what the game looked like. Even if it isn't necessarily balanced for the highest level of difficulty. Also, pardon my lack of game knowledge, but part of the fun is discovery -- or lack thereof.

Note that this is taken from the Twitch vod, so there will be some overlap and there will be some interruptions and interaction with chat. That's part of the fun. If you have a chance feel free to join in at Asher Games on twitch.

Also, for those of you who were wondering about the audio -- sadly there wasn't much I could do to fix it due to the way I recorded the stream. Hopefully it is a situation that is alleviated in the future though.

Set for the stars with your newly minted FTL drive and explore a very crowded galaxy. The game truly starts to shine once borders are established and intrigue between space empires begins. Playing a lot more like Europa Universalis IV, you are tasked with managing your empire, maintaining the happiness of diverse populations over your may different planets, researching key technologies along the way, and not pissing off various fallen empires and succumbing to inevitable space disasters. Because the galaxy is dangerous. And not just because of friendship.
