To attack enemies, get close to them and continue moving towards them.
There are different types of weapons and armor. They differ in wear, their durability must be restored, otherwise they break, and you will have to look for a new one.
Any food restores health, arrows restore the current weapon, iron shields with crosses restore the current armor, and round wooden shields increase maximum health.
