you can also setup another audio repeater rather than using "listen to device"... and ya there is a small delay... but it does the job for recording :P

hey guys, this is hotnoob here... and well my mic is broken, or rather my entire laptop is broken so i'm using this makeshift one... anywho, i'm going to be showing you how to create a makeshift stereomix for people who either don't
have an audio driver for their computer or simply don't have stereomix on their audio card.
you will need to install a program called "Virtual Audio Cable," i really don't care if you buy it or torrent it.
once you have it installed, you will want to open the "Control Panel" for VAC and "Audio Repeater M.M.E." for VAC.

in the control panel, you will want to create 2 cables.

then open playback devices and set Line 1 as the default for both cases

then open recording devices and set Line 2 as the default for both cases.

then open the properties of Line 2, and send the output of the device to your speakers

lastly open Audio repeater and set Line 1 as the input and Line 2 as the output, and press start!

and finally Line 2 becomes your stereomix... ish.
