Stone Protectors [Unreleased/Sega Genesis] 2022 (Part 2/Full Gameplay?)
7I had such a blast covering this wonderful game last night, that I would like to cover this in its entirety... or at LEAST most of it. Stone Protectors is a Sega Mega Drive beat-'em-up game developed by Eurocom based on the cartoon series with the same name. It saw a release for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994, and a port to the Mega Drive was due to be published by VIC Tokai, but was cancelled for unknown reasons. The game was very close to completion before being axed, so much so that it had even obtained an ESRB rating. In 2021, Piko Interactive picked up the rights to the Stone Protectors license and set up a Kickstarter campaign to bring the series back in 2022, including a polished aftermarket release of the cancelled Mega Drive version. Slam into the stone zone for a wild battle of the bands! It's you & the of the rest of the Stone Protectors against Evil Zok & his whole sucky group. You get to play Clifford, Cornelius, Chester, Maxwell, or Angus. Make special moves and attacks in scrolling 16 meg. Solo, or 2 at a time, & go for a monster hit before they blast you off the stage! You've got cool weapons to fight with, over 12 levels to explore, & a whole garage full of powerups! So grab your axe, and let's GOOOOOOO! Featuring 90s arcade style beat'em up gameplay, different characters to choose from, 2V2 fighting mode, & a rocking sound track!
