I start today's episode by showing off my new offscreen catches: a taillow named "Grow Up", a silcoon named after a blonde joke, and Pikablu the Pokégod. After this showcase, I enter Rustboro's gym to challenge Roxanne the rock-loving honors student.

The gym is pretty bog standard, just a few youngsters, a hiker, and a ton of geodudes. Fortunately, everyone faints instantly to Connor Jr's water gun. After the mooks are dealt with, I challenge Roxanne herself.

Roxanne's first 2 geodudes get water gunned until the cows come home. After that, she sends in her ace, Nosepass. Nosepass is a tank and it heals like nobody's business, but a few key hits puts my Mudkip over the top, earning me my first badge.

After leaving the gym with badge in tow, I see a Team Aqua member stealing goods from a Devon worker. My next order of business is to get those goods back.
