Visage is probably the one that had me most tense during a prolonged session, but Otherworldly takes the cake. It's in short, fast doses and never gives you any breathing room. Otherworldly is an indie game developed by MrCiastku. He/she must be an avid fan. They took the best parts of horror and found a way to cram it into a game with replayability. The game is in its early development stages right now and with some more love, it could be made into a bigger project.
The premise of Otherwordly is a simple one: a dungeon filled with riches has erected out of nowhere and withstood all attempts of destruction. A few people have entered with promises of wealth; however, none returned. Then, comes you (us). The silly player, of course, ignores all warnings and bad juju. Do we die? Of course. Many times.
Otherwordly combines low light, and eerie sound effects to constantly keep players on their toes.
