About a month and a half ago the live action remake for How to Train Your Dragon released and pretty much worse in almost every single way than the original. The original HTTYD movie is an actual masterpiece. The story of a struggling father/son relationship taken to it's lowest point, and learning about yourself in unlikely places is done so incredibly well in this movie and moved so many people. It has inspired, saved and built people into incredible things, and there is such an incredible community that spawned from this movie. So when there is a live action version being made, that does nothing better than the original and made just solely to make money? This needs to stop.

The crew behind live action HTTYD movie focused too much on trying to make things look real that they forgot what made the characters feel real to begin with. So many scenes were cut from this version that were integral to the original story. Many shots were taken out that helped actions have weight, and the acting could've been way better. They believed by just copying the original script over and having real people on camera would be an easy way to make some money. Unfortunately, that seems to be the case. Universal and Dreamworks even announced the sequel BEFORE THE FIRST MOVIE RELEASED.

If we want the film industry to stay innovative and creative we need to stop supporting garbage like this.
