The Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers (FIVI) has elected Gianni Mauriello as the new delegate for the Puglia region. Mauriello, 40 years old, owner of the Casa Primis winery in Stornarella, in the province of Foggia, will lead the Puglia section, which currently has 41 registered companies, 10 of which are in Capitanata.
An oenologist and winemaker with 19 years of experience, Gianni Mauriello has a deep knowledge of the sector. A graduate of the agricultural institute of Locorotondo, he has honed his skills by personally taking care of every phase of wine production in his company.
The election of Gianni Mauriello strengthens the presence of FIVI in Puglia, a region with a great winemaking tradition, with the aim of continuing to promote the values of authenticity, quality and sustainability that distinguish independent winemakers.
