The Starlight Gala while dating Nadi. I'm pretty sure the dialogue is exactly the same regardless of if he is your friend, boyfriend, or husband. The invitation might be different if you're married (haven't seen it while married), but I think it's the same if you're friends or dating him.

It's a really short event. One disappointment in this game (for me) is the Starlight Gala. It's just so short and simple compared to ANB's Starry Night Festival. I'm not sure if I'll record it for the other guys for that reason. I may if I happen to have my camera out while I'm recording events, which is what happened with Nadi's here.

Anyway, yes, you will automatically invite your boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse to the festival. You don't have to go to the actual festival if you don't want to, though I'm not sure if that results in FP loss or anything. If you are not dating or married, you can ask a bachelor(ette) to go with you, regardless of your FP level with them.
