Strain Review Sesh! || Greasy Runtz by Sinse Cannabis!
9Today we're smoking on and reviewing some Greasy Runtz popcorn bud from Sinse Cannabis. It's a pretty straight forward cross of Grease Monkey and Runtz. This batch is testing at an overall THC of about 23% with delta 9 at 1% and THCA at about 25%. It also has amounts of CBD, CBDA, CBN, and CBG all less than .1%. They also supply the terpene info, this batch has 2.267mg b-Myrcene, 3.107mg d-Limonene, 1.522mg Linalool, and 2.662 b-Caryophyllene. And I believe those numbers are based per gram. I also believe I gave those in the incorrect order in the video as they're not in order on the packaging and I got mixed up. Either way, my assessment is still accurate to my experience.
The flavor came across on a dry pull as very sweet, floral, earthy, and the slightest bit peppery. Which is likely similar to what you'd get out of a dry vape experience. As for the burn, it has a predominantly earthy and floral flavor with a lightly sweet flavor. With some peppery notes coming through as well. Overall the terpene flavors blend with flavonoids and other compounds to come across as gassy and fruity with the creamy undertones on the finish. Fairly similar to some of the parent strains involved. You definitely get the chemical/gassy flavor from the Grease Monkey, the fruitiness that shines in Runtz along with the light creaminess that exists in both. Contrary to one of its parent strains, Gelato 41 that I also purchased from Sinse, which has a much more creamy flavor with a lighter fruitiness. It's quite interesting getting to know these strains, their lineage, and being able to actually taste the lineage and how it shaped the daughter strain.
As for effects, it actually fits right in with Runtz and Gelato 41. It has that nice relaxing but uplifting euphoria with a very nice and relaxing body high. The Grease Monkey coming in to offer just the slightest edge to the body high makes it lean slightly towards a more relaxing state than say a strictly balanced experience that you might get out of just Runtz on its own. So for most, this strain will probably be best suited for early evening maybe even social hour use. For me, however, I could use this stuff all day. Works like a charm. Worked wonderfully for pain relief and stress relief, and in turn does great things for my mental health. And with that elevating and uplifting euphoric kick, it keeps me out of the couch lock zone. It also kicks the munchies into over drive. Which is something I've definitely experienced with some Runtz, Gelato, and Grease Monkey based products that I've had.
All in all, I feel like Sinse has some of the absolute best bang for your buck flower available. Testing over 20% with comparable terpenes to most other flower, and $50 a 1/4 for that matter. I mean, it's popcorn bud so you're not going to get those big pretty nugs but once it's ground up, does it even matter? I say nay. This stuff smoked smooth and worked well. I have nothing to complain about. Literally nothing. Good on you, Sinse. Thank you for some real quality and affordable flower.
