Strain Review Sesh! || Grimace cured wax by Good Day Farm!
2Grimace or potentially Grimace OG is a cross of Purple Urkle and Face Off BX1. This batch was testing at about 70% total THC if I'm not mistaken. The THCA is at 76% with less than 1% being delta-9 THC and less than 1% being CBDA. No terpene testing info, however given the strain info and my experience, I'd say it falls pretty closely in line with the expected heightened amounts of b-Myrcene, b-Caryophyllene, and Linalool. I also believe there's some potential for d-Limonene to show up. If it IS present, it's likely in much smaller amounts.
The flavor on this was very earthy, floral, and creamy with lightly sweet fruity notes. This overall flavor is coming from Myrcene and Caryophyllene interacting with the floral flavors in the Linalool. It's a flavor I've experienced in many other strains. A lot of "purple" this and that strains have similar combos of terpenes. Which can all have a similar creaminess with that light fruitiness. People describe the light fruitiness as specifically grape, which I can understand. I, however, experience it as more of a general berry kind of flavor. It's so light that I wouldn't necessarily describe it as a specific fruit but it definitely has a fruity quality. Which is where Limonene comes in. I believe it's really what's giving such a sweetness. That or there are other compounds at play. That's always a possibility.
Effects wise, I'd say this stuff works quite well! For the price, I certainly wasn't let down. The high is very relaxing and calm with a certain euphoric stimulation that I could only describe as calm excitement lol like a creative and calm focus. Quite the interesting experience, overall. Definitely something best suited for evening use when you can relax and enjoy yourself. It worked well for pain relief and in higher doses has the potential for munchie induced cravings. Given the other effects, I found it also helped me quite well with issues that I have with depression, anxiety, and just over all mental health. I think I'm just the perfect candidate for cannabis to work effectively in that way almost no matter what strain I'm consuming.
