Strain Review Sesh! || Purple Circus Sideshow live sugar by Head Change
6Hello! Today I'm reviewing Purple Circus Sideshow live sugar by Head Change. Live sugar is a concentrate made from fresh frozen flower and extracted with a chemical, purged, then has pressure and heat applied to quickly create THCA crystals in a resinous terpene rich sauce. Purple Circus Sideshow is a mix of Purple Chem from Illicit and Big Foot Glue and Dracarys from Robust.
This batch is testing at an overall THC of about 85% with the THCA at about 85% as well. Delta 9 testing at about 4% and CBD at 6%. The terpenes on this are testing at about 6.5% with Linalool, Terpinolene, and Geraniol as the top three most dominant terpenes.
The flavor comes across as predominantly gassy and chemically with earthy undertones. To break it down, the Linalool and Geraniol both contribute to a floral flavor mixed with a musky earthiness that all three can offer, combined with the slightly piney and sweet aspects that the Terpinolene offeres. Maybe even slightly influenced by some sweetness in the Geraniol as well. It all comes together to create a nice, sweet, gassy, earthy, and musky flavor.
The effects are definitely relaxing in nature. The euphoria is calm and focused with a very settled and calm body high. About 45 minutes into the experience I notice a sleepiness creep in. Perfect for night time and end of the day use. Really helps relieve pain and relax you. Also a pretty effective appetite stimulant, for me. I definitely got the munchies smoking on this stuff.
Overall a great product. I'd like to see a bit more terpenes to balance the heightened THC but that's a minor problem, really. It's a good solid product. And the strain itself is great. Definitely recommend! 😊
