Had you heard of this game? I never heard of this game until last year when the Switch version came out. I considered getting a physical copy for Switch as it was actually less expensive than the game was on Steam at the time even after importing it from the UK. But of course eventually it went on sale and well... here we are. The game was released back in 2018 for PC, PS4 and XBOX and was developed by Rebellion Developments, best known for their Sniper Elite series. I bought it on Steam a few months ago or so when it was on sale super cheap (I forget exactly how much now but I think it was under $20? Maybe under $10? Honestly can't remember but it was a steep discount!) but it's back up to full $60 price right now as of making this video anyway. Anyway, it's kinda like Left 4 Dead meets Brandon Frasers The Mummy movies! The game takes place in Egypt in the 1930's or 40's and has a very silly sense of humor that doesn't take itself seriously at all. It's really meant to be played co-op MP (you can heal your teammates) with 4 characters with different abilities but seems fine SP so far. It's fast paced and you have tons of ammo (unlimited pistol!) so it's definitely not a Survival Horror that's for sure. You automatically run and L Shift defaults to throwing grenades (I had to swap it to G as I kept hitting it to run!) and there's lots of little secrets to find so exploring is good too. Game runs Vulkan and it's not too demanding by any means. I'm playing 1440p high no problem on my RX 5600 XT. Definitely worth the $20 or less I think I paid for it! Heck, maybe it was under $10... I seriously can't remember but it might have been! It's a good game but not worth full price now that it's 4 years old. Wait for it to go on sale again or pickup a used copy for PS4/XBOX if you can. I saw a used copy for PS4 in a game shop for $20-25 shortly after buying it on Steam so it's out there used too for way less than the normal price.
