The strazoon Planning Solutions enables an easy – one-click - creation of traffic models. With the generic approach, we provide wide planning facilities to individual selected geographical zones. Based on the OSM infrastructure and tool landscape we developed a cloud-enabled service, which supports urban and city planners to manage their models, pass them to a simulation stack and visualize the results.

Our solution is a minimal viable product and still 'work in progress' and we hope to receive viable feedback from domain experts during the SUMO conference.

We execute SUMO after the selection and data improvement process. Due to the limited availability of accurate data source for traffic modelling, we decided to focus on the usage of synthetic data generation for model creation.

For this purpose, we already extended the multi modal and activity based framework SAGA [1, 2] with permission and included it into our workflow engine. Currently we are working on the generation of different models and configurations in order to evaluate the precision of the activity-based approach. For this reason, we plan to integrate visualization dashboards and selected data graph for further comparison. With prior focus on the 'one-click' approach, a process-optimized (automated) integration of SUMO toolkits is challenging. We already archived good results we like to share with the community.

Recently we deployed our application for a real scenario for a midsize Germany city and simulated the use of electric and autonomous mini vans to justify changes in the city infrastructure and impacts on the traffic situation. The outcome and results can be shared during the presentation.
