8ABSOLUTELY LEGENDARY classic by the wizards at Capcom! This re-defined the vs. fighting genre and added all sorts of wonderful bells and whistles as well as detailed special moves for each character. Choose from 8 different characters-- Karate fighters Ken and Ryu, female Tai-Chi fighter Chun-Li, Russian strongman/wrestler Zangief, Marine Colonel Guile, Yoga and limb-stretching Indian Dhalsim, monster/humn Blanka from Brazil, and Japanese sumo wrestler E. Honda. Then go to work by pummeling your way through the other fighters, and get rewarded by facing 4 boss fighters: Balrog (M. Bison in various foreign countries) the Vegas boxer, Spanish acrobat Vega (known as Balrog in other countries), Sagat the Thai kickboxer, and the cheap and gravity-defying M. Bison (aka Vega in foreign countries). Americans know these characters as Balrog, Vega, Sagat and M. Bison (or just Bison), respectively. Each character has their own series of moves they can pull off, and with relative ease. This not only spawned a bajillion sequels, but several upgrades as well! STREET FIGHTER II: CHAMPION EDITION in particular; with its debut you were allowed to play as the boss characters! One of the greatest arcade games of all time!
