Strider X Street Fighter

Zeku's an old Street Fighter character. I'm talking so old he's from Street Fighter 1! Sure, he was an NPC then, but look at him now! A ninja who once trained Guy, who himself hails from Final Fight, Zeku now lends his ninja prowess to this game.

Seeing as Zeku was added later into SFV's life, he doesn't factor into the cinematic story at all. In fact, it's hard to place just when this story takes place as Zeku travels around trying to spread...uh...ninja knowledge? And accidentally charm Ibuki with his younger looks. It's OK, Zeku; there are plenty of people that think you look hot as you are (like Laura, according to some win quotes).

Zeku utilizes a variety of acrobatic moves, with some familiar sound effects for some moves. Recognize that SCHWING when he kicks? Sounds similar to Strider Hiryu's attacks, right? And as we see at the end of this...Zeku MIGHT be the first Strider. So...Final Fight, Street Fighter and Strider now take place in the same universe!

What makes Zeku really interesting is that he is effectively two characters in one; with either his V-Skill, Fukuro, or his special move Shukumyo, he can morph into a younger form. Old Zeku fights better at range, while his younger form is better up close. Young Zeku can switch back with his own version of the special move, or his V-Skill, though you need to actually hit the opponent with that one to make the switch.

His V-Trigger I, Bushinryu Shingekiko, gives his moves new properties, including special finishers for his specials and generally making it easier to combo them with, while V-Trigger II is an attack that will also have him change his form.

I'm not a huge Strider fan or anything, but damn if Zeku isn't cool enough to make me reconsider. Now, due to how I organized these videos, Zeku WAS gonna be all by himself, but I decided to make him a bonus with two other videos today...so enjoy!
