Five years. Five damn long years. From 2016 to 2021, I have covered this series on this channel. For good and for ill, Street Fighter V has had a turbulent journey. It began with very little content, all to please the competitive crowd but as time went on, Capcom devoted their time to make this game worth it with more characters, modes, the works. Now it finally feels complete. What better way to finish this than by showing the final character for the final season, Luke.
Luke is an MMA fighter specializing in brute force and strong attacks. His V-Skill and V-Triggers are intresting. V-Skill I is Hard Shot, basically making his Flash Knuckle usable without holding the button down. But holding the button can also change the properties of Flash Knuckle. V-Skill II, Suppressor lets him take a step back and then does a jab, giving him a Unique Counter stance. It lets him counter throws and command grabs.
V-Trigger I is Fully Armed. It gives him access to Rock Smasher, firing 3 Sand Blasters. In addition, using Rock Smasher enhances it to Thermobaric Thrash, upping the count from 3 to 5. V-Trigger II is Vanguard. This gives him the ability to use Flash Knuckle twice consecutively. It also applies to Flash Knuckles and the Hard Shot.
Luke is a unique character but it'll be a while before you can get a good hand with him. And with that, Street Fighter V is FINALLY put to rest. Thanks for watching everyone. It's been a hell of a ride.
