Playthrough Part 12: A Return to Face Fantina
With our favor done, we press on back to Hearthome City. We got a gym to conquer and a badge to obtain. Let's go.
Hearthome City Gym's gimmick specializes in some basic knowledge. If you know the answers, you won't have to face any trainers. But for the sake of things, get the answers wrong to battle them and get experience. It'll help out a lot. At the top you will face Fantina and you'll need to be at your best to take her down.
Fantina is the Gym Leader of Hearthome City. She specializes in Ghost-type Pokemon, similar to Morty in Gen 2 and Allister in Gen 8 (Shield). Having a Dark-type Pokemon or Pokemon with Dark-type attacks can really help you out.

Lv32 Drifblim
Lv34 Gengar
Lv36 Mismagius
Defeating Fantina will net you the fifth badge, the Relic Badge. This badge lets you use Surf outside of battle and you get TM65, teaching Shadow Claw.
With five badges, time to head West. Part 13 will have another battle on our hands... against Roark's dad Byron.
