"Streets of Rage 2" for the Sega Master System is a classic side-scrolling beat 'em up video game released in 1993, developed and published by Sega. It's the sequel to the original "Streets of Rage", and continues the action-packed journey of vigilante heroes fighting against crime and corruption in the fictional city. Players can choose from "Axel Stone", "Blaze Fielding", and "Eddie 'Skate' Hunter", each with their own unique fighting styles. Together or solo, players embark on a quest to rescue their friend and former colleague, Adam Hunter, who has been kidnapped by the villainous Mr. X.

It features multiple levels filled with various types of enemies, ranging from common thugs to more challenging bosses. Players must navigate through urban landscapes, including city streets, factories, and even an amusement park, engaging in intense hand-to-hand combat along the way.

The gameplay fails to live up to the original's standards. Many moves can be performed, but the hit detection feels unreliable, and there'e no invincibility frames upon recovering from an enemy attack which can result in being knocked down repeatedly with no chance of recovering. The graphics also does not reach the standards set by the original, with a lack in detail and color.

Overall, "Streets of Rage 2" for the Sega Master System delivers an enjoyable but sometimes frustraing beat 'em up experience. With the high standard the original "Streets of Rage" for Sega Master System set, this sequel is bit of a disappointment.
