"Summer Games" is a sports video game by Sega released in 1990 for the Sega Master System. It features five events from the Summer Olympic Games - Pole Vault, 100M Dash, Gymnastics, Platform Diving and 100M Freestyle, which can be played either as single player or multiplayer.

The game was originally developed by Epyx and debuted in 1984 for Commodore 64. That version had nine events, so this version has had its content trimmed down. Each event offers straightforward gameplay, with the 100M Dash and Freestyle events requiring rapid button presses while others demand precise timing.

Visually, the graphics are crisp and colorful, featuring amusing character sprites, and the music enhances the overall experience. This is the first game in Epyx's "Games" series, with more sports games with similar setup and gameplay being released.

Overall, "Summer Games" is enjoyable but way too short and simplistic. Even the original with its nine events would have been on the limited in its content, and this version has even less content. None of the events has enough depth to keep interest for a long time, this offers only a brief entertainment, preferably against friends.
