Well, this is one I've been waiting a long time to do. 100 episodes ago, in a modern day one off, I reviewed Streets of Rage 4, because I simply had to. No, it didn't fit into what I was doing with the rest of the channel, but the Streets of Rage series FINALLY getting another sequel on modern platforms was just something I couldn't ignore.

Now, it's time to go back to the beginning, back to where the legend of three ex cops named Adam, Axel and Blaze taking on Mr. X and the Syndicate first began. This is a review of not just any game, or even an excellent game, but one of the games that made me a Sega fan for life. Had Streets of Rage not existed in 1991, there's a very good chance that I wouldn't being doing Zilog and Moto today, or have the collection that I do.

Take a look, and see the game that led me down this path, and I'm sure has influenced countless others as well.
