Streets of Red: Devil's Dare Deluxe - Obtaining Devil's Dare achievement without dying as Jackson
5Streets of Red: Devil's Dare Deluxe is an enhanced release of the original PC Steam: Devil's Dare which came out a few years ago.
One big selling point this game has is multiple routes, early playthrough stage choices cover 1-2 areas whilst late playthrough stage choices covers 3-4 areas.
Devil's Dare achievement involves playing through the entire game on Expert with max bets throughout. This causes some regular enemies and all bosses to become giant elite versions, one extra challenge I did for this video is to beat it without dying once.
The character: Jackson has a really good upgraded special which uses up 1 bar and deals up to 20 points of damage and combine that with Black Flag perk allows certain boss fights to be a complete pushover. The reason is that Black Flag has a small chance of instantly killing a non-major boss enemy regular or elite size. Killing an enemy with a special move always drops a soul point pickup and having a lot of enemies nearby the main boss means that I have a chance to refill my special bar quickly and spam Diving Kick to counter bosses' defensive specials.
