Awesome.Effing.Game.
Haha, this game is still in Alpha, but I wanted to give it a shot and show some love to my favourite rogue-like and rogue-lite genres. This is a really fantastic game so far, even in its alpha phase. I've been playing a lot of it off camera, as well, however, this little gem will definitely be making its way to my stream very shortly..!
Anyways, gameplay is really smooth, fun, and features some decision making which is always a bonus. The graphics are pixel perfect, and incorporate a lot of fun things as well (exploding corpses is my favourite!)
The only real bummer about this was that there's no current music, so I asked the developer if it was okay for me to put some stuff in the background, which was A-Okay!
Anyways, pick it up, enter the draw to win a free copy when it comes out for full release, and just sit down and enjoy the damn game. It will be a blast, and I promise you will love it! I mean.. How many games have you ever said, "Oh, a stupid window, BUT I CAN'T BREAK IT!" Well, in this one, you can break it, and the front door, and everyone's face from there and inbetween. ♥
Games with similar themes and playstyles are Nuclear Throne and Hotline Miami! This is easily one of my top 10 roguelike games. Thanks, Matt Dabrowski for working on this awesome project!

【What is League of Legends?】
Streets of Rogue is a rogue-lite about player choice, freedom, and anarchic fun. The game takes inspiration from fast-paced top-down rogue-lites like Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne, and adds free-form, experimentation-driven, emergent gameplay elements of RPGs like Deus Ex. Rather than taking place in a dungeon, the game is set in a functioning, procedurally generated city, where complex AI informs denizens from all walks of life, who are just trying to get by in their daily activities. In order to progress, the player will need to accomplish specific mission goals in any way they see fit through use of their special character traits, items, and the environment. Will you play as a soldier who shoots first and asks questions later? A stealthy scientist who uses chloroform and tranquilizer darts to silently take down the opposition? A genial bartender who can talk his way past the most intimidating of guards? Or how about a hyper-intelligent gorilla, rescuing other caged gorillas to form a small mobilized gorilla army?
