Strider 2: Part 3: Mission 03
2Mission 03 takes place in Antarctica, where Strider Hiryu must infiltrate a research facility deep within the land of ice, snow, and PENGUINS! Lots and lots of penguins!
Don't fall into the icy cold water here. It's no different from the damage you take from falling off the stage.

Scene 1 has Hiryu leap and climb along the Antarctica Ross Ice Shelf. Beware how not every penguin you run along and come across here will be a friendly one. The boss of this is the Missile Mobile.
Scene 2 has Hiryu continue his climb as he has now reached the Olaf Wall Base. At one point, you can either climb a wall with certain goodies, or use an enemy helicopter as a ride to get to the top of it.
Either way, that same helicopter, the Begula F, is the boss. After blowing it up, you have to run down an exploding mountain and make a big leap to the other side. Doesn't this sound familiar?

Scene 3 has Hiryu at the entrance to the lab, but before he can enter, he must face against the mechanized Frozen Mammoth and its relentless and annoying energy shots.

Scene 4 has Hiryu traveling through the research section of the lab. At times, the gravity will reverse, cause him to fall upwards. Right as this happens, you get to fight an Antarctic Guard. During this fight, you can reach for a Max+1 for your health.
Keep traveling through a huge tunnel while you're upside-down. Go into a door that you can optionally miss, and you'll face two more bosses: the mutated Researchers. Beat them for another Max+1 and a Life+1 for your health.
Scene 4 will finish after you continue through a huge tunnel and take down a near-helpless Ventilator.

All of Scene 5 is about destroying a huge Gravity Core that keeps shifting your gravity underneath. This ALSO sounds familiar!

The finale of this Mission 03 has Scene 6 tasking you to defeat a giant Kraken. Watch out for its re-growable claws, as well as the lasers it can summon from about and from its yellow suction cups.
Those yellow suction cups are your targets for this boss. Smash them all and the Kraken will go down with it.

Following another accomplished mission, a certain coalition of Grandmaster Meio have gather together to discuss their South Pole lab having recently being destroyed by Strider Hiryu.
Turns out this coalition has a Strider of their own within their ranks: Strider Hien. Hien wanted to face, Hiryu, but he was held back and told to wait for the right time to do that, preferably after Grandmaster Meio makes his next move.
