Strike Commander, composed by Randy Buck, Martin Galway, Dana Glover, Marc Schaefgen, and Nenad Vugrinec and released by Origin Systems, is considered by some to be the finest of all Roland MT-32 soundtracks. For this music-only recording, embedded sound effects such as engine noise have been removed. The CD-ROM version of the game adds a rather broken-sounding rehash of a few tracks that we only grudgingly include, and only at the end of the soundtrack so as not to spoil the enjoyment of the rest of the music. Note that the cutscene music exists in two versions: one for text display, and one for speech playback, with the speech playback versions being shorter. We only include the longer versions that were intended for text display.
