We are back in Striving for Light: Survival, the top down indie action roguelike from @ignitingsparkgames for another chill no commentary playthrough. This time, we're venturing into Swamp Tier 3, with Heleja, Dark Staff and Magic Shield for a swirling ranged build.

This style of action roguelike game, popularized by Vampire Survivors, has exploded in popularity this year. Striving for Light: Survival is quickly becoming one of my favorite indie action roguelike games of 2023. Although Striving for Light: Survival is still in Early Access on Steam, it's completely playable at this time.

In our journey through Tier 3 of the Swamp map, we path through the Path of Exile-style expanding passive tree, focusing heavily on ranged nodes. We grab several Projectile Multiplicators and Swirl as our major damage dealers, along with a few Projectile Damage nodes. Some Explosive Projectiles and Scattering Projectiles round out the build.
